TO DEATH

http://www.goear.com/listen.php?v=e4c4883

The most important changes in my life have always been marked by a tremendous symbolism and the presence of some natural phenomenon type hurricane, earthquake, storm ... But never catastrophically, they were only present in the environment.

17 years ago I was in the fullest creative swing of my life.
Every day I get up and leave home, a torrential river of ideas took me by canoe to school. Not only poetry or music, but also painting, crafts, photography, any art form... I applied it to everything.

1998 was by far the worst year of my life.
Not only because the April 4th I took the worst bump of my love life history, but also that same week, arriving home at noon from class, I found my mother crying. They came from the doctor and had to enter my father for some chest pains. I could not imagine it was anything serious and try to comfort her. On July 10th, my father died of lung cancer after three months of tremendous physical degeneration. (That day I dropped the world over, I really do not remember a worse day.)

I remember the rest of the summer. Many more things I will not go into detail happened, but they are the kind of things that make you think: "Damn! Come all together" or "we can’t get back on our feet again”. The kind of things that end with five civil guard patrols at the door of your house. (And it's not a barbecue).

That year I clung to music more than ever but not in a creative way. The river of ideas had dried completely and never returned to write or compose. But it did not matter, I had enough material to live on my private income until I sent them to hell in second course.

Now, almost 17 years later, some time ago, do not know why I have regained illusion and the path of creation. If any of you recognize guilty ... Do not go away from my life!

Anyway, last Friday my father would have turned 81. Happy birthday Dad.

A MUERTE

http://www.goear.com/listen.php?v=e4c4883

Vienen todas juntas” o “No levantamos cabeza”.
